Mamas on Bedrest: Baby Trend Carseat Review

March 5th, 2014

It’s Video Wednesday, Mamas!

Today I am reviewing the Baby Trend Carseat with the Inertia Controlled Motion Base. This Seat has some really great safety and convenience features! It is a far cry from the seat that I used for my daughter back in 2002-03. It easily latches into most cars, has a unique neck support feature for added support of your infant’s neck and is aesthetically lovely with its broad sun shade and quilted foot cover. If I were in the market for a carseat, this would be it! I feel it’s a bargain at $179.99 retail. But this week, some lucky mama is going to win this carseat! You all have until Friday, March 7th at 11:59 pm CST to submit a comment in the comments section below. I’ll put all the names in a bowl and draw one out. That mama will be our lucky winner. Good Luck Mamas!

What a great car seat! The one I’m using now is a hand-me-down that’s already gone through a friend’s two boys, and my son is about to outgrow its 20 pound weight max. We were actually preparing to invest in a new carseat, so winning this would be a godsend!

As for my story, I’ve posted before but I currently have an 8 month old and an 8 year old, and between the two of them I’ve spent a combined 36 weeks on bedrest (17 weeks of which were in the hospital). ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks for all you do!

this would be amazing, the ease of install really help because those latches can be a pain to reach with those straps

This car seat is so awesome! Great feature, I remember back in the day. They did not have anything compared to this. Which made it difficult for me, my son is 13 today and he had severe acid reflux so bad I couldn’t leave his sight. I always had to prop blankets in his car seat. It was so devastating, I have twins on the way and afraid of the same thing happening. My husband and I both have acid reflux. It sucks, but this car seat would be great to have to help out. Thanks for sharing.

I work in a NICU and we frequently have families in poverty unable to afford a car seat. I’d love to give this to one of our NICU graduates in need!

It’s so nice to see the safety changes that have been made since my last pregnancy on 2006. I’ve been searching for a car seat as I am due in Aug and this seat looks perfect!!! Thanks for doing a great job explaining all of its great features!

I am on my 22nd day of bed rest! I am currently 31w/2days. My water broke at 28/1. This is my fifth child. My other our are over an hour away from me, which makes it harder to visit. I definitely feel the pain and loneliness being here. I definitely know if I was not here I would not be at home resting. I am an on the honorarium amd enjoy that. I just found this sigt by typing in bed rest! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m happy to have discovered it!
